Our repair and recalibration service consists of a complete evaluation of the thermocouple for breakage, contamination and wire damage for all profile, spike and epitaxial thermocouples.
Your returned thermocouple is stripped down and the value retained from the old precious metal which is deducted from the price of the refurbished thermocouple.
New junctions are formed and the wire is calibrated in our advanced electronic calibration system. The thermocouple is then reassembled with new parts as necessary. Each thermocouple goes through a rigorous final inspection, which includes electrical testing.
Finally, each thermocouple is sealed in plastic and placed in our custom designed packaging.
In all cases Multi-lab offers precious metal credit for both profile and spike thermocouples.
