Due to its high thermal conductivity this material is suitable for:

•The manufacture of very thick-walled components with a high mechanical strength and very good thermal conductivity.

•The manufacture of furnace tubes with excellent thermal shock resistance.

•Use in oxidizing atmospheres up to 1400°C.

•The manufacture of thick-walled tubes, which gives high mechanical strength.

•Use as sighting tubes for optical temperature measurement.
