This facility has been the head office of Multi-lab since 1990. As well as the office block we have two modern manufacturing facilities’ to compliment the site. We currently have glassblowing capabilities to process tubes up to 650mm; the facility has 6 lathe stations and 6 hot bench work stations.

Basic CNC station for profiling and slotting. The facility also has a large quartz cleaning area.

Currently we have one of only four fully automated cutting machines in Europe for cutting high volume quartz glass tubing.

Within our cutting facility we can cut block material 1Mtr Sq, 60 slices per operation The Newcastle upon Tyne factory produces high quality fabricated quartz and ceramic components for industries including Lighting, Semiconductor, Solar,MOCVD, Defence and Research and Development.
