Our Silicon infiltrated reaction bonded Silicon Carbide (SiSiC) is Reaction bonded with a SiC matrix it is free of pores with residual metallic silicon.
The material is a high temperature ceramic which can be used for extremely high mechanical loads.
SiSiC is extremely good against oxidation resistance which means large sized components are possible for a range of wear or temperature applications.
The material can handle temperatures up to 1350°C and is corrosion resistant against strong acids and alkalis.
Our SiSiC is produced to stringent manufacturing specifications, which ensure a consistent excellent quality product; customized net shapes for the most stringent ceramic solutions are available.
