This form of SiC has a Compact SiC matrix with open porosity.
Within the field of ceramics it is classed as the Classic ceramic for high temperature constructions. Because of its molecule structure large sized components are possible.
RSiC can operate in temperatures: 1600°C (oxidising) and approximately 2000°C (under protective atmosphere).
Recrystallized, RSiC has been designed for a multitude of low mass kiln furniture applications as well as complex parts.
Our RSiC is produced to stringent manufacturing specifications, which ensure a consistent excellent quality product and customized net shapes for the most stringent ceramic solutions.
Components can be manufactured to very complex shapes with internal/external features sometimes not achievable in other ceramics.
